The
construction of a plant for the purpose of teaching has the aim of being able
to manage small-scale breeding hobby of fish of different types and cultivation
of small vegetable species for ornamental or edible.
With
this type of simple systems, water breeding is continuously renewed in a tank like
a wetland system, through the cultivation of vegetables or ornamental plants.
These
systems are supplied with the same water without waste. The latter is a basic principle
of the aquaponic.
The
system can be implemented using simple materials found in the most common Hobby
Center,
which
are not necessarily specific for the use. If you want you can also earn from objects
that time did pile in our garage and in our cellars, even objects that were
used for different purposes: for example tubs or buckets into disuse.
The
engineering part is supported by small pumps manufactured for the management of
home aquariums, which are well suited to the purpose of the system.
An aquaponics
system can have an amazing effect design, even interior, where the most
creative minds can affect the final aesthetic achievement, finally, to beautify
our living rooms.
Within
the partnership of the Museo di Montebelluna, ISISS have set up two small
aquaponic systems with the characteristics shown in the following table.
